Child Welfare Case Worker

The Yuma County Department of Human Services is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and team-oriented individual to join our Child Welfare Unit as a Case Worker.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and respond to intake calls
  • Conduct child protection assessments
  • Manage ongoing child welfare cases
  • Participate in an on-call rotation after training is completed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Human Behavioral Science or like field required
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening

Salary: $3,774 – $3,839 per month entry level. Wage negotiable for experience and/or certification

Landfill Operator

Yuma County is currently accepting applications for the position of Landfill operator. Candidates will report directly to the Yuma County Landfill Supervisor. We offer a competitive salary ranging from $37,440 to $39,520 depending on experience. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-minded, and willing to work as part of a team while assisting with daily landfill operations, equipment use, regulatory requirements, and public service. AAA Services Coordinator

The AAA Services Coordinator provides essential advocacy and support services to residents under Title III of the Older Americans Act for the State of Colorado and AAA Region 1. This role is responsible for coordinating programs that empower seniors and individuals with disabilities to maintain independence.
