Part-Time Veteran’s Service Officer
Yuma County is looking for a dedicated Part-Time Veteran’s Service Officer to join our team and help provide vital services to our veterans. Pay Range: $23,793 – $24,506.79. As a Veteran’s Service Officer, you will provide assistance and support to veterans in navigating the various benefits and services available to them. Eligibility Program Specialist I – Yuma County DHS
Yuma County Department of Human Services has a great opportunity for an Eligibility Program Specialist. This position assists families with benefit and eligibility for government assistance programs administered through the county department. Work alongside the current team of specialists serving those in Yuma County.
The optimal candidate will have people and computer skills, be a self-starter, have the aptitude and ability to work independently, but also in a team environment. Previous Human Services experience preferred, but not necessary. Bilingual skills in Spanish/English a plus but not required. High school diploma or GED equivalent and Colorado Driver’s License required.
Wage based on experience and language skills with starting wage of $3,045 per month, great day-time hours 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday with an amazing benefit package. Must be able to complete a background check and pass a drug screen.
