Yuma County Extension Administrative Assistant

Colorado State University Extension, Golden Plains Area, Yuma County is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Extension Administrative Assistant. This position performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties to assist with promotion and coordination of Extension programs of Yuma County and the five Golden Plains Area Extension counties. Position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent; working knowledge of computers, printers, copiers and related systems and equipment; prior secretarial experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Two (2) years work experience in positions similar or related to this job is desirable. Full County benefit package. Landfill Manager

Yuma County is currently accepting applications for the position of Landfill Manager. This position directs the operations and personnel of the Yuma County Landfill Department. Candidates will report directly to the Yuma County Sanitary Landfill Board. We offer a competitive salary ranging from $57,784 to $62,000 depending on experience. This exempt position is responsible for overseeing daily landfill operations, managing staff and contractors, supporting planning, compliance and reporting, developing and administering the department budget and serving as an advisor to the Yuma County Sanitary Landfill Board.
