Second and fourth Friday of every month (9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.) at the Yuma County Commissioners’ Office, 310 Ash Street, Suite A, Wray, CO 80758.
The role of the Yuma County, Colorado Veterans Service Officer is to assist veterans, their dependents, and their survivors to obtain state and federal benefits for which they qualify.
A Message from the Yuma County Veteran’s Service Officer
It is my pleasure to assist Yuma County, Colorado Veterans and their families in a friendly and professional manner. I am State certified, through training and testing, to help Veterans obtain the benefits they qualify for. I travel throughout the County in Colorado to meet with Veterans in a private setting of their choice, at their convenience, and work diligently to get each Veteran all the benefits they qualify for. The five major VA benefits we provide assistance with include Claims for service connected disabilities, Non-service connected pension, Burial and survivor benefits, Enrollment into VA health care, and Education benefits eligibility. Other sources of assistance we utilize:
