August 6 from 2pm - 3pm - Kickoff Meeting on the topic of “Who is Implementing the WRC?” All “governing bodies” must adopt a code by April 1, 2026 that meets or exceeds the state standards set forth in the 2025 CWRC. Implementation and enforcement of that adopted code is determined by the governing bodies, which may include different entities and agreements. In this session, local jurisdictions will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of various approaches.
This monthly recurring meeting takes place on the 3rd Thursday of each month and is hosted by the Community Development Office in the Division of Local Government, within DOLA. The intended audience is local government planners and other staff working on land use and housing issues.
